OUR HISTORY

Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded on April 20, 1898 at Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia. Eight of the thirteen women pictured are founding sisters. "To give much is to receive much" was the motto the women of our sisterhood created for themselves and felt compelled to live by. Over the course of time, we have grown from a circle of eight into a sisterhood of over 80,000.

The Epsilon Chi chapter at Northeastern was chartered on April 27, 1991.
